The leather comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul, a Brazilian state bordering Argentina. It is tanned in Brazil in accordance with REACH standards. The use of water is reasonable during the tanning process. The tanneries supplying VEJA's leather are LWG Gold certified by the Leather Working Group which promotes sustainable practices with a positive impact on the environment in tanneries
Interview : The use of the washing machine is formally discouraged as this risks altering the properties of the various materials. Before wearing for the first time, we advise you to waterproof your shoes with a spray suitable for the material and to repeat this operation periodically.
After each use, it is advisable to take out the insoles in order to ventilate them. Shoes should ideally be stored in a dry place away from any source of heat. Cleaning: Use warm soapy water and a brush. Leave to air dry.
